This is a hint to install or install a Samsung Stock ROM (firmware) on a Samsung device using the Odin Downloader Tool.
Your Samsung device must have at least 30-40 percent of the mobile phone battery to perform the flashing process.
Flash or install Samsung STOCK ROM (firmware) using Odin Downloader
Step 1: Download and install the Samsung USB Driver on your computer. If you have installed Samsung USB drivers on your computer, then STEP this step.
Step 2: Download the Samsung ROM (Stock ROM that is compatible with your device; If you already downloaded the ROM then avoid downloading it again) and extract it on your computer. After extracting, you will be able to see similar files:
Step 3: Turn off your Samsung device.
Step 4: Now, you have to boot the device into Download mode. To boot into download Mode: Press and hold the Volume down key, home button and power button. When the phone vibrates leave the power key but still hold the Volume down key and home button. You will boot into download Mode.
Step 5: In the download Mode, you will be able to see the yellow triangle alerts. In that situation, you have to press the Volume up button to continue.
Step 6: Download and extract Odin tool on your computer. After extracting, you will be able to see the following files:
Step 7: Now, go to Odin3 and connect your Samsung device to your computer.
Step 8: After you connect the device to the computer, Odin will automatically recognize the device and display the message “Add ” in the lower left log area.
Step 9: Once your device is detected by Odin tool, click the button ” PDA ” and select the TAR. md5 file you have extracted in step # 2.
Step 10: Now, click the “Start” button in Odin to start the Flashing process.
Step 11: Once you see, the Green Pass message then disconnect the USB cable from the device (during this process, your device will restart automatically).
Step 12: Your Samsung device will now hang at boot loop. Now, you need to boot into stock recovery Mode, to activate stock recovery mode: Press and hold the Volume up, home button, power button. When the phone vibrates leave the power key but still hold the Volume up key and home button. You will boot into recovery Mode.
Step 13: In recovery Mode, clear the Data/factory reset.
Step 14: After the Data Cache is removed, select Restart Phone Now from the Recovery menu.
Step 15: Now, your Samsung device will restart without problems with Stock ROM that you have downloaded.
